Recent Salmon River Central High School graduate Carey Terrance Jr., 18, has been selected to play for the Anaheim Ducks in the 2023 NHL Draft.

Terrance, who just last week walked across the stage at Salmon River’s graduation ceremony on June 23, was selected at the NHL Draft on June 29 in Nashville. He was selected 59th overall by the Ducks.

At Salmon River, Terrance was considered a stellar student both on and off the ice. Terrance graduated in the Top 20 of his class because of his academic successes.
