On May 19, 2026, Salmon River Central School District voters will be asked to consider the district’s $42.62 million 2026–2027 budget proposal, the purchase and finance of school transport vehicles, and a Board of Education election.

Propositions

  • A $42,616,026 budget for the 2026–2027 school year that increases spending 2.83% and carries a tax levy increase of 2%.
  • Purchasing and financing school transport vehicles at a total cost not to exceed $1,400,000.

Board of Education election

Two candidates are seeking election to one open Board of Education seat:

Krystal Lemay
Sarah Mitchell

This seat is currently held by Craig Jock, who is not seeking re-election. The elected candidate will serve a term beginning July 1, 2026.
