May 1 traditionally marks the nationwide deadline for high school seniors to declare their college intentions. To commemorate this significant milestone, Salmon River High School hosted a special celebration recognizing all students as they embark on their post-graduation journeys.

While the day is often associated with college commitments, the event embraced the diverse aspirations of the graduating class of 2025. Students planning to enlist in the military or enter the workforce were equally celebrated alongside their college-bound peers.

Each participating student was called individually to sign a class book, symbolizing their shared experience and the closing of one chapter. Following the formal announcements, students, faculty and families enjoyed refreshments, providing an opportunity to connect and celebrate this pivotal moment.
