School to resume Monday, Sept. 8, following plumbing issue

Dear Salmon River Families:

Thank you for your understanding following yesterday’s school cancellation. I know it was an unfortunate turn of events, especially given that it was supposed to be our second day of the 2025-26 school year.

Plumbing contractors have been working since Thursday evening to resolve an issue we were having with drains at our main Salmon River campus. We’re happy to inform you that the problem was fixed yesterday evening, and we expect to resume school as scheduled on Monday, Sept. 8.

We look forward to our first full week with our students as we move forward into a successful school year.
