Teacher Appreciation Week

 Dear Teachers,

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

—Winston Churchill

This week we join schools across the nation as we celebrate “Teacher Appreciation Week.” The occasion provides us an opportunity to acknowledge the incredible work that you do each day, but I want you to know that your efforts do not go unnoticed in the remaining weeks in the year. As teachers, you impact the lives of so many; you touch the hearts of school staff members, and shape better futures for your students. If you ever question whether you make a difference, let me assure you—you do.

Thank you for making this school a happy, healthy place for our children to learn. Thank you for making our schools the heart of our community. Thank you for supporting one another and fostering a family environment. Thank you for maintaining high standards in your classrooms and pushing our students to be the best they can be.

Teaching is so much more than a job. Thank you for dedicating your life to helping others.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Sincerely,

Dr. Stanley Harper
