1st quarter - 5 weeks |

School Attendance
|
|
Regular attendance at school
is of the utmost importance. For each day a child is absent, the sequence of
learning is broken and planned activities are missed.

Legal absences from school
may occur for the following:
-
sickness
-
death in the family
-
impassable roads
-
religious observance
-
presence in court
-
quarantine
-
attendance at organized clinics
-
remedial health treatment, and
-
approved cooperative work
programs.

|
In order for the
absence to be marked "LEGAL" , the student must bring in a written
excuse, stating the reason for missing school. |
|
If your child has a
communicable disease, please notify the school office immediately. Any other
illness that may last more than one day should be reported to the school office.

to be cleared because of inclement weather or some other emergency, there will
be bulletin broadcast over local radio stations:
