| School Attendance | |

Regular attendance at school is of the utmost importance. For each day a child is absent, the sequence of learning is broken and planned activities are missed. |

Legal absences from school may occur for the following:

| In order for the absence to be marked "LEGAL" , the student must bring in a written excuse, stating the reason for missing school. | |
| If your child has a communicable disease, please notify the school office immediately. Any other illness that may last more than one day should be reported to the school office. | |

If the school system is to be cleared because of inclement weather or some other emergency, there will be bulletin broadcast over local radio stations:
