| Excuses | We are required to keep on file all excuses for absences or lates. If your child is absent, please send in a note with him/her for the days they were absent and the reason. If your child is coming in late, please also send in a note stating the reason. These excuses should be dated and signed. |
| Medications | If your child requires medication
while at school, we will need 3 items: 1. a note from the doctor indication the name of the medicine and when it is to be given 2. a note from the parent giving the school permission to administer the medicine 3.The medicine in its original container must be given to the nurse before 8:30. STUDENTS ARE NOT TO CARRY MEDICATION! |
| Physical Ed Excuses | If your student cannot participate in gym, please send them with a note to the nurse. If it is a long-term excuse, we require a note from your family doctor. |
| Swim Clothing | Each student in grades 2-6 will have swimming. Please be sure they have a bathing suit and a towel available. |
| Use of Office Telephone | Students may, for EMERGENCIES ONLY! To stay after school, a student MUST use the office phone before 1:00. |
| Visitors | Parents are encouraged to visit the school, but it is important that you call ahead so that the teacher can set up time to meet with you. When you arrive, you must check in at the elementary office and enter through door 3. |
