book tells the story of an argument between First Man and First Woman and
how the strawberry was created. It was chosen by Tina Square and Tim
Horton who attend the St. Regis Mohawk School.
“The best part
of this book is when the Great Spirit created the strawberry for the First
Woman and the First Woman ate the strawberry and forgot about her anger at
First Man. I encourage other kids to read this book, too, because it is
about Native Americans.” |
