Dr. Carl Benn

Biography
Dr. Benn is the Chief Curator of the City of Toronto's Museums and Heritage Services and has worked in the museum field for twenty-eight years. He has curated about twenty museum exhibits and has worked on eleven historic building restoration projects. He is author of Historic Fort York, 1793-1993 (Toronto: Natural Heritage, 1993), The Iroquois in the War of 1812 (Toronto: University of Toronto Press, 1998), The War of 1812 (Oxford: Osprey, 2002), and approximately seventy-five other historical and museological publications. He also has taught at the University of Toronto since 1991 in Continuing Studies, History, and Museum Studies
