The weekend of March 14th was a exciting weekend for the SRC Music and Drama department, with the presentation of the musical BUGSY MALONE. This is the first musical after an 11 year wait for Salmon River and it was a complete success. The show featured Tanner Beaudin as Bugsy Malone, Jenarae Beaudin as Blousy Brown, Alex Patnaude as Fat Sam and Cassandra Tuper as Tallulah. The cast and crew consisted of students from grades 5 to 11 who have been working hard under the direction of Dave Bish and Emily Robideau since late fall to prepare for this show. The students showed great talent and an obvious love for theatre and music. The work that went into this production was apparent and all involved should be proud of the outcome. We certainly look forward to seeing other Musicals in the future as this was well worth the wait. Congratulations Cast and Crew! |
